Dolls keep coming.

On taas ollut kirjoittelussa vähän taukoa, mutta nukkeilu ei ole tosiaankaan yhtään taukoillut...Tein lupauksen olla hankkimatta enää yhtään uutta hartsinukkea taloon ja olen sitten salakavalasti keräillyt itselleni melkein hullun kiilto silmissä Monster High nukkeja. Uusimpina Catty Noir, Gigi ja Twyla. Kaikki 13 Wishes-mallia. Myös Skelita ja Cathrine DeMew (Scaris-mallia) löysivät luotani uuden kodin.

It has been a while since I updated, but I haven't been taking a break from dolls for sure...
I made a promise not to get any new resin dolls in the house and now I have been collecting Monster High dolls instead. The newest additions are Catty Noir, Gigi and Twyla.
Also Skelita and Cathrine Demew.

Jotenkin kummasti Cathrine näyttää minusta ihan Kylie Minoguelta...

Somehow to me Cathrine looks like Kylie Minogue...

Tein vaihdon Soomin Migmasta, yhteen Souldollin MSD-kroppaan joka sopikin Dollmoren Pado-päälle kuin nappi silmään ja sitten sain samassa vaihdossa vielä Fairylandin Littlefee Rolly vampyyritytön. Hänelle ei ole vielä nimeä, mutta I'm working on it!
Ehdotuksia otetaan vastaan :)
Itselleni tulee mieleen Lyydia jostain syystä, saa nähdä sitten jääkö tuo nimi tytölle vai ei. Mutta hän on vallan suloinen sirrisilmä. En ole koskaan oikein näistä nukkusilmäisistä nukeista välittänyt mutta tässä pikkuisessa on sitä jotakin.

I made a trade between Soom Migma and a Souldoll MSD body, which is perfect for Dollmore Pado head. Also with the trade came Fairyland Littlefee Rolly vampire. She doesn't have a name yet. Lyydia comes to mind but we'll see. She's cute, although I have never liked sleepy eyed dolls before but she has something in her that I like.

Olen myös kovasti ommellut vaatetta sinne Den of Angelsin swappeihin, käsin tietenkin.
Vielä on vaikka mitä ommeltavaa...

I've also been sewing like crazy for swaps in Den of Angels. Still a lot to do!

Venus Mcflytrap

En aluksi pitänyt tästä tyttelistä juuri ollenkaan, mutta jotenkin nämä värit ovat ihanat ja nyt kun tyttönen on täällä, on hän kuitenkin aika ihana. Menee melkein Spectran edelle.

At first I didn't like this girl at all, but somehow I love her colours and now that she's here, she is just lovely! Almost goes past Spectra, but not quite :)

More Monsters!

Postissa kulkeutui luokseni tänään Frankie Stein ja Spectra Vondergeist. Täytyy sanoa, että ehdottomaksi lempparikseni on nyt muodostunut tuo Spectra vaikka aiemminkin juuri sitä olen ihaillut. Sillä on kaikki lempivärini, ja onhan nyt kummitukset kuitenkin aina ihan parhaita ;)
Sain otettua vain kännykällä nyt kuvia kun kamera on muualla mutta ei kai se niin haittaa.
Vielä kun saisi Cathrine DeMew:n ja Nefera de Nilen, niin voisin olla ihan tyytyväinen. Ja tietysti sitten kun se ehtii Suomeenkin, haluaisin sen pullukan Monsterin jota tuolla Monstereiden Facebook-sivuilla jo hieman väläyteltiin.

In the mail came Frankie Stein and Spectra Vondergeist. I must say, that my absolute favourite is Spectra, although I have been liking her earlier too. She has all my favourite colours and c'mon, ghosts are just the best! ;)
I managed to take just mobile pics, because the camera is somewhere else, but I guess you won't mind.
So, if I could have Cathrine DeMew and Nefera de Nile, I would be satisfied. And of course, when it arrives to Finland, I would like to have the chubby Monster which they showed a plan of on Monsters Facebook page.

 

Operetta

Kiertelin tänään Prismassa ja Cittarissa, ja olin yllättynyt siitä miten paljon Monster High- nukkejen hinnat vaihtelee! Cittarissa oli Core-hahmoja alle 30 eurolla, kun BR-leluissa ne maksaa 44 euroa ja Prismassakin lähemmäs 40 euroa. Outoa.

Löysin Cittarista kuitenkin käsiini Operettan, joka onkin lähemmällä tarkastelulla tosi nätti kasvoistaan. Tykkään Oopperan kummitus-musikaalista ja Operetalla on ihanat fiftari-vaatteet tässä Dance Class-versiossa. En tykännyt siitä core-hahmosta hirveesti. Olihan se sitten pakko napata mukaan ja maksoi 23 euroa. Ei paha!

I circled around two supermarkets and I was surprised how much the prices vary on Monster Dolls. Other store had Core-figurines under 30 euros when BR-toys sell them for 44 euros. In another supermarket it was almost 40 euros.

I found Operetta, who has really pretty face when I looked at her closely! I like the musical Phantom of the Opera and I love the fact that Operetta is dressed in fifties style in this Dance Class version. I didn't like the core version as much. So I had to take her home with me, she cost me 23 euros. Not bad!

Dresses for Monsters

Draculaura ja Abbey saivat tänään aivan ihanat mekkoset jotka huusin huuto.netistä :) Kyllä nyt kelpaa keikistellä!

Tänään posteljooni rimputti ovikelloa, ja postien seassa oli nämä kaksi suloista pientä monsteria!
En osaa päättää kumpi on ihanampi, ne ovat kumpikin yhtä ihania... Ja miten siroja, mutta hyväntuntuisia käsissä.
Olen ihan positiivisesti yllättynyt, ettei nämä olleetkaan ihan niin muovisen oloisia mitä kaupassa katsellessa olen ymmärtänyt.
Ostin nämä huuto.netistä, sillä halusin ne ihan koemielessä mutta nyt olen ihan vakuuttunut näiden ihanuudesta.
Vaatteita ei ollut mukana, mutta niitä on vielä tulossa. Ei nukkejen omia vaatteita, mutta ei se mitään.
Seurailen tässä juuri, miten hinta kehittyy Nefera de Nilen kohdalla jossa mulla on huuto. Hinta alkaa olla kyllä jo aika korkea, mutta sillä nukella on alkuperäisasukin. Sen kyllä haluaisin. Ja se DeMew:n... *syvä huokaus*

Today the postman ringed the doorbell and in the mail were these two sweet little monsters!
I can't decide which one is sweeter, they both are... And how delicate, but still feels good while holding them.
I'm positively surprised that these weren't as plastic as I thought while watching them at the store. I bought these from huuto.net, a finnish auction site as a test, but now I'm totally conviced that these are just lovely.
Clothes didn't come with them, but they are coming. Not their own, but that's okay.
I'm just following how high the price ends up with Nefera de Nile which I made a bid on. The price is getting higher all the time, but she has the original outfit. I would want her. And DeMew too..*deep sigh*

Olen jälkijunassa, mutta olen viime päivinä löytänyt itseni netistä selailemasta Monster High-nukkeja ja törmättyäni Nefera De Nile ja Spectra Vondergeistiin, olen totaalisen menetetty. Katsokaa nyt!

I guess I'm a little behind on this Monster high thing, but lately I've found myself searching online and when I bumped into Nefera De Nile and Spectra Vondergeist, I was totally lost. Look at these!

 

Pohdin jatkuvasti sitä, että olenko liian vanha keräämään näitä nukkeja, mutta kun ne ovat tosi söpöjä! Eikä maksakaan ihan liikaa, verrattuna esimerkiksi hartsinukkeihin.

I've been thinking about this all over again and again, am I too old to collect these dolls, but they are so cute!
And they don't cost that much, comparing to resin dolls.

As a cat person, these cat figurines make me purrrr....
